The following is a list of substitute things that have been offered. We will continue to provide our patients with durable medical equipment (DME), home sleep studies, and CPAP supplies. Every 3 months.
Full Face Cushion
Every month after the first 3 months dispensed.
Nasal or Pillow Cushion
Every 2 weeks after the first 3 months dispensed.
Daily with warm water and mild non-fragrant soap or use a SoClean machine.
Headgear
Rinse and let air dry. Wash headgear by hand with warm, soapy water as needed. Do not place it in washing machine or dryer.
Tubing
Every 3 months
Weekly in a sink of warm, non-fragrant soapy water, and let hang-dry out of direct sunlight.
Disposable filter
Every 2 weeks (light blue color)
You might need to replace them more often if it looks dirty.
Non disposable filter
Every 6 months (dark blue color)
Once a week rinse filters with water and allow to dry before placing them back into the device.
Water chamber
Once a week the humidifier chamber should be soaked in a solution of 1 part white vinegar 3 parts water for approximately 15-20 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with distilled water.
Chin strap
Every 6 months
Wash it as needed by hand with warm soapy water. Do not place it in the washing machine or dryer.
